Residency Notes

Hi everyone.

It was such a pleasure to see you all again in person at the res after months of emails and OMG rants. I believe all of our workshops went better than planned (how was yours, Carmen?) and I KNOW we all shone at our readings. We have made such progress in these two and a half years, and more pride is in the offing.

Kirstin,

I can't tell you how glad I am that you have set up this blog. It means a great deal to me that you all have made enough of a connection to each other and to the program to stay in touch this way.

By the way, comments from residency evaluations of workshops run by graduates were almost universally good. A couple of people said that one student (other than Ron and Kir) dominated too much of the conversation in Genthner/Samul workshop, but that was about it. Well done!

Hi Brian,

Please let me know if you have any ideas for improving the blog!
And I think the "student" who dominated the conversation was Don Snyder. It was nice to have him in the workshop, but he does ramble a bit. ;)

Might have been a different out spoken, self promoting student... ummm who comes to mind?

Ron - I wasn't even in your workshop, but you are posing a rhetorical question, yes?

BTW, I crack up everytime I see that scuba diving picture. I think you should get a business card with that on it. Or sell signed posters on Miranda.
